“I am between these walls because I chose to, but victims of the disgraceful World War II, didn’t!” – Summary of my trip to Berlin

My visit to Berlin was a learning experience. I heard tragic facts. I saw monumental sites tracing back those miserable war days for the Jewish people. I also saw the remarkable heritage, which tells its own story—some disgraceful, others with a glance.

The weather was perfect to go for a guided cycling sightseeing. You can easily rent a bike for the day.Guided cycling-seeing

If you decide to use public transport, get a day ticket valid for bus, tram and metro.
We stayed at the Catalonia Berlin Mitte Hotel

Places to visit for a happy hour or unique gifts:

That is all I could see in a weekend. I will certainly revisit Berlin. Hopefully, the next time will be the fashion week!
