Free to dream. Free to tell a story.

Last weekend was a great experience. There’s so much to discover, but I hold on to the moments that come at the right time. The inspiration comes along the path. I follow that direction.

Well, you may see me as a dreamer. Yes, I dream of living up to all the inspiration in my surroundings in the cosmopolitan Arnhem, the Netherlands. I embrace these moments. Even though it seems perfect, they are just a matter of perspective. Somewhat not positive at times. I stand up, and I salute this freedom of mine.

    Freely imagining the story.

By looking at the art of unknown artists, I am curious about what they had in their minds when creating such art. Tomorrow, this might not be here anymore. It is the underlayer of a new piece of art.

    Beyond arte with love

Camilla Groen in her secret world, where she celebrates colours, love and art.img_0226

I first encountered Camilla’s work  in a moment of celebrating love, at the Valentine’s fair. It was the most inspiring corner with string artwork and paper crafts.

Camilla went to university in the capital of Rio de Janeiro to get her degree in International Relations. She worked at Petrobras, where she met her husband. In 2012 they moved to The Netherlands.

She is a dedicated mother of three beautiful children. With  great enthusiasm, she says: “I love my family.”

She adds: I fell in love with string art.

Certainly, her pieces are a great romance. Her fingers flirt with strings showing off their best of colours.
