If only I had in the 80’s all the technology from today

Back then, in the 80’s, I set up a fashion catwalk with my young family-members. I arranged everything from scratch. I had no clue about front row, yet only the important ones got that seat. Catering was arranged with some adult help (grandmother of course!) Models were all pumped up with chosen outfits and make-up. Lightning, glamour  and red carpet.

All black and white at times

This is it, getting  along with the natural changes. The bad hair days happening often. The skin not so bright and beautiful as you feel. Oh gone are the days these brown eyes could read the small letters without a second skin, reading glasses. What is this so black and white! I love it. This…

My passion for fashion

I always mention my passion for fashion because that’s what I lived up to since I was a little girl. Well, back in the time when I could make looks for my dolls or dressing up my little niece and nephew. I could plan no-budget catwalk with collaborations and trained the models to walk and…

Outfit with a purpose

So as expected, up front was this glamorous bags made from apples by Happy Genie. It’s luxurious and multi-use. It’s designed by Tanja Schenker in Switzerland and produced in Italy. Happy…

2017: a year of achievements, discoveries and blog collaboration

It was a very good year for achievements, discoveries and blog collaboration. Looking back on 2017, one of the first memorable moments was the catwalk of Kelly Sue during Amsterdam fashion week. Her concept “Broken Crayons Still Color” highlighting diversity, was fascinating. The catwalk was so exquisite with these models in wheelchairs that are called “Sue Warriors”….

Colour picking inspired by nature

This is my mood board inspired by nature. Last month, I went on holiday to Brazil. I was born near the Pantanal where nature is always in the spotlight. I caught up with friends and family and, most of all got to remember how beautiful and colorful nature can be. Colour picking is certainly inspiring…
